The triple score on 5 recovery speed and the SC24 coil is unbelievable machine for picking up good targets next to awful targets i have nothing but praise for the triple score, i will get a deus 2 soon in the future but right now the triple score is a cracking machine goe the price to keep up with something that is double/triple its price
  • @diggerdaz279
Probably why I prefer to chuck the D2 remote in my pocket and use my ears… ultimately you get that little chirp of a signal and then investigate with a sweep in the other direction which will give a great tone… £1300 detector and the remote is your pocket lol Triple score superb performance for the hard earned £££ 👍

I’ve seen many videos stating that the deus you need to dig by tone not by VDI
  • These are great comparisons. I believe you’re on a great pursuit of ‘truth’ in this industry. Cheers!

You know, if it gets the target after two sweeps it will get the target after 25 sweeps. You've proved the point, then move on. Or, if you are really testing the target response change something. But endless going back and forth, back and forth, has no benefit, just wastes time. There are only a few folks who test detectors who recognize that if it gets the target then either change the sweep direction or move on. Most just sweep back and forth for the duration of their narration, which can be too long. We get it. After a minute of sweeping the identical target you get identical results.
  • Does the Triple Score recover better in iron than the Legend? As the Triple Score definitely appears to be utilising a much faster processor. Which if true, means Nokta have may took a very big dump on the Legend owners who thought they were buying the pinnacle machine in the Nokta coin & relic range. I recently read somewhere that the chief engineer at Nokta no longer works for the company. I’ve owned lots of different Nokta and Makro detectors in the past, and have always been very impressed with the build quality and value for money their detectors offer. Personally, I believe the audio always trumps ID in every situation when actually out detecting. So, although the Deus II might be under averaging the ID numbers, the audio is always true – I believe in the Deus video which you refer, the XP representative actually says to trust the audio not the ID numbers. Wherein, I was using XP metal detectors long before Nokta appeared on the scene and it’s nothing short of amazing what the XP owner Alian Loubet has achieved, especially since he is an avid detectorist himself. I’m not a fanboy either, as I’ll happily use any metal detector that detects well. So, can we please the same test carried out with the Triple Score vs the Legend, as I think lots of peeps would be interested in the video? Thanks for uploading an interesting video!

  • @timbrown8581
By continuously swinging back and forth over the one location, you allow the detector to zero in on the target! In real life we swing once over a location and if we get a signal, we investigate it! Really what you should be doing is give it a single swing over the targets only! If it identifies the silver, than that's a real result. If no signal, so be it.
