Definitely an interesting one. I spent 16 years working at March ARB myself and retired from there. I was also on the team that towed the C-141 over from the base to the museum when we retired it around 2000. Cool to see you visiting the Colton area. I'm on Rancho and Agua Mansa a lot myself. While you're there: most people probably would never know it, but the obelisk/spire thing in front of the museum there is actually a cellular tower. I remember them installing it when I was working there, and I knew the museum curator there when they put it in there in the early 2000's.

Enjoy those times with your dad man! My dad passed away a week ago, it didn't really hit me until I went into his house to clean his stuff out, it absolutely killed me man.
