Hey Coffee Girls! I am a rising sophomore at High Point University, a small christian college. I am majoring in religious studies, hoping to go into worship music after college. I miss college so much. I made so many good friends and I miss the life I built there. This video is so helpful for me. Thank you for all you do.

Being able to be alone is a blessing because you dont depend. Its truly a blessing to be able to do things even the simple stuff. There are people who cant be alone due to health issues..

Loneliness is the best thing ever. Through it I discovered Jesus even more, He is my peace.

I feel this so strong. I really appreciate all the advice on loneliness. I have a girl friend that I catch up with about once or twice a year from school but other than that my main people are my family. Sometimes it feels lonely to not have a friend to go get coffee or thrift with but I am so blessed with my family. Friendships can be a challenge at every age

Hi. I didn’t know you had a second channel. I found you & your sister about 6 wks ago. I’m a 67 woman in Ohio. Through a series of misconceptions and humanness I was recently fired from my job I worked at for 36 yrs. I understand about loneliness. I didn’t get to say goodbye to others and your whole routine changes. People don’t contact you because it’s awkward. God bless you, you made me not feel so alone. I was probably going to retire in two years anyway. But this is tough. I would have expected embarrassment, but I’m not. I’m hurt. I never went away to college but it would make sense how you are feeling. I guess I didn’t realize it was almost half my lifespan I worked there. I know I will come out of this. Life has ebbs and flows. I thank God for my church family. But you can be in a room with people and still feel alone in your situation. Take care.

Unfortunately for me, moving to a far new location, not knowing any one( except I went to those I’d greet in Church), I went down a rabbit hole to a deep depression, sadness, and loneliness. I sought help from Church Pastor and found that I was grieving. Grieving the loss of my Mom, new environment, etc. Christen therapy has helped me going through. I’m still going through hardships relationships with my daughter and my marriage.

Thank you for sharing this Taylor--what often helps is just knowing your not alone in something, and the more I hear of other people struggling with loneliness and friendship changes, I feel less alone!

From Kenya in same space, life pre grad and freelancing, sometimes it has gotten lonely but also been a time for me to iron out stuff with God. We at try to hide behind careers but for me though returning to employment it's been a season of God restoring me musically, am now able to write full songs in my vernecular. Thanks Jesus.
