I’ve been running my center about 1 DB louder than the rest and setting everything else to 75 DB except the subs. I like the subs at 80 DB. It still seems pretty balanced while having the punch you expect. But not too much for music.

Awesome Demo! I have the Signature Series S60’s Tower speakers for about a year now and I’m feeding them 300watts each with the Emotiva xpa-2 gen3. They sound great for home theater and two channel listening. I’m thinking about the Reserve R700 Towers which are currently on Black Friday sale. Is the difference between the S60’s and R700’s a night and day or subtle? I know all the reviews on the R700’s are very good. My system sounds pretty good as is, but I don’t want to pass up the good deal on R700’s. If I pull the trigger on them, then I’m left with what to do with my S60’s. I might move them to my side surrounds as I’m running a 7.4.4 setup. Your demos were my inspiration for getting the S60’s now I’m afraid your demos are my inspiration for the R700’s! Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Keep those awesome demos coming!!

Where do u keep your volume knob for the fvx12s ? And do u always have your rythmiks on 1P HT or you switch them depending on if your watching movies or listening to music ?

Hey man.. always appreciate your content. I have the same receiver, and a decent mixed bag of speakers including the last-gen LSi center channel. Anyway, our tv is smallish in a similar sized room as yours. How far is your couch/main seating position from the screen? What is your opinion on 65” vs 75”? Thx!, 👍🏻

With the speakers you have you really may wanna get a cinema 50 receiver. I got one moving from Yamaha and it is a world of difference. Yamaha gives you cheap sound. Even with s good amplifier.
