YES- children CAN put away their own laundry (at a certain age). My mom gave us chores (sweeping, put away laundry, folding towels, dusting) when we were kids. It actually made us feel "part of the team" and appreciate my mom as a person. Kids need and want to help.

i need to tell you that you’ve gotten me into the habit of taking something that doesn’t belong with you when you leave a room. i do this MULTIPLE times a day. i’ve been able to keep my bedroom clean for over 3 months and im not kidding, as an adult that’s the longest i’ve gone without having to take hours to clean it. thank you!!

I bought the child-sized broom and dustpan that came as a set at the Dollar Tree for my 7 yo grandson. After eating it was his responsibility to sweep under his chair and under his part of the table. He's worked up to sweeping their whole (small) kitchen! He also washes & dries his own laundry, then sorts it into the cloth cubes that slide into the cubicle cubbies (not sure what that's called.)
  • It's your voice. There are many cleaning hack videos out there, but you have the nicest tone and tempo to your voice. I just get pumped to clean-up! Thanks for sharing all of your great ideas!

Definitely like the idea of boiling vinegar for odors! If you clean out your hot water kettle with vinegar, it’s like a two for one! 🫧🫧🧼

🫧 i still use the phrase "don't put it down, put it away" that you taught me 😂 love ya!

🫧love all these hacks so much! Especially the laundry one, I always pressure myself to have everything so “organized” that forget the simple things can make a huge difference
  • 🫧🫧🫧Keeping the utensil holder in the sink…brilliant! 🤯
  • @madcrazymom
I use those baskets for my underwear, socks and bathing suits so everything stays organized. I am definitely going to check out the mop vacuum. With hard floors, I need one! 😊
  • @maryklouzek1802
There are baskets made to put on your stairs to collect items. They actually fit the pattern of the stairs and are great to corral all the “stuff”!
  • @gaillangford280

Idk why I had no idea a mop vacuum existed but seems life changing! Fingers crossed it goes on sale during prime day because I need that in my life. I realized I don't have the bubble emoji.
