The first thing I can think of is being able to sync guitar chugs and bass drum hits perfectly.

This instrument is to guitar, what a synthesizer is to the piano. It will not replace the good old guitar, but It can open the door to a brand new style of music. I love this.

Thanks for the review Paul. Do you know if with this guitar you can write tabs as you play along? It should recognise the exact string, bend, slide and so on. That could be the most useful aspect of MIDI guitars.

I normally like traditional guitars and am very closed minded when it comes to modern reimagining of classic instruments but this blew me away! My wife already said NO!

Back in the day my Dad played a Guitorgan, a 1970's semi hollow body guitar with organ electronics and sensors in every fret. It was way ahead of its time. Just by touching the strings he could play different organ tones while simultaneously picking the guitar. Watching this video, it's crazy how far we've come. I wonder what Dad would have done with this kind of technology.
