Fkng Debbie, you're the real and only Blonde.
-
one of the few songs where music achieves absolute perfection.

I was 19 when Atomic was in the charts but only recently realised how good the drumming was. 😎👌
-
I put this song on and away I go to another place. There is nothing else like this song. Deborah Harry fuckin rocked. 😎

1979, 1980 ... Une époque heureuse que regrettent ceux qui l'ont vécue.

This song is magical and very powerful. It is not to be underestimated.

The voice, the drums and the bass solo … we love it in the late 1970's on vinyl through our 1960's solid wood record player. Hahaha. Brilliant. And we danced too. Thanks Blondie for being part of the family. Hahaha.
-
I always loved that little bass solo (that the radio stations kept cutting out, dammit). Nigel Benjamin deserved a piece of the spotlight.

This women is phenomenal

This is my favorite song. It's just so haunting and gorgeous. I'm glad to be a teen in this time so that I can listen to all the 70s and 80s classics! :-D

And with that, Mark Renton had fallen in love.

Cuando iba a la universidad a estudiar la escuchaba. Antes no había internet, esperaba los sábados para ver los vídeos de música por la TV ❤

Had the pleasure meeting Deborah at Shop Rite..! More beautiful in person and sweet person. Then went to her concert at Basie. AWESOME

“Tonight make it magnificent, Tonight”!🔥

Not just an absolute beast of a song, but it HAS to have one of the greatest openings of all time (off the top of my head Gimme Shelter is another). I have to put it back to the start at least once every time I hear it..doesn't happen with many songs! Debbie's voice though, so emotive, so sexy, so... yummy and yet so gritty. She rocks. Actually when I say gritty I more mean her performance on tracks like Hanging on the Telephone etc.
