Good for you. I moved to Texas from Michigan 48 years ago and never looked back.
  • I'm very happy for you. Hope you still keep doing videos as you have been one of my favorite channels to watch. I would love to keep in touch with you and see how you are doing. Definitely going to miss your videos of the tractors and plowday videos as well. Good luck with your adventures and may God bless you in your life. See you later.
  • Following your heart is inspiring to others Jake. Great work mate !! G’day from Australia.

Super happy for you, Jake! Wyoming's gorgeous. I'll look forward to your next area of focus... I'm guessing "Banjo pickin' and fly tyin' with Jake" - Greg (you worked on an old Gravely Commercial 12 for me, and sold me one of yours- they're both still going strong! One is my "quick hitch machine" for finish mowing and snow blowing, and the other is the hard working brush mower and land plow machine that takes a beating and keeps on going)

Good for you! This isn’t your “practice” life. Wyoming is a great state I’m sure you’ll love it Jake!

Jake, good to hear you are making a break. You have work ethic, skills, tools and support. The mountain states all have a lot to offer. Give Wyoming a summer and a winter then reassess. Personally, I like warm better than cold.😂 I wish you the best, my friend! Thanks for the update!

Good to see you following your dreams, Jake. When I was your age, I moved from Ontario to British Columbia, and haven’t regretted it for a minute. Live in a small mountain town in BC now, north of Idaho. Safe travels.
  • When you lose track of what day it is, you've found your place in life! Congrats. I've done this a few times in my life also, and its worth it!

Wow I am really happy for you, big bold change and young enough to dig in easy when you arive👍 wish I had done the same. I spent my childhood traveling all over the west up in the mountains, you name it I was there, traveled roads don't exist stopped at places that there is barely a mark on the land showing where it was. Many towns are gone, the people I met or from another Century, The jokes the humor the food the civility the ethics and the health. I breathed some of the best air there was drink the cleanest and poorest water that one could have, unfortunately the trees are not there like they were when I went back 20 years ago, but they're an awful lot more people there. I miss the days when it was half an hour to 45 minutes between cars passing you while you're on the side of the road. And I really miss those people, all those old timers were amazing, so many of them had serious grit, smarts and a definite can do about everything, many of them had gone through the great depression which created a different kind of a person, good on a handshake was a deal. I hope everything goes well for you, I'm sitting out on a similar adventure but unfortunately I'm not headed to the beauty that you are, the dirt different and the seasons are different. Good luck with all you do, and don't forget to talk to your parents, they will be constantly wondering how you are, and I am guessing you will always be their kid. So they want to know how you are. thank you for your content, it's obvious you like doing all the same things I like doing, sorta makes me smile. It'll be real interesting if I can make it a go, I'm pretty old and I'm doing this pretty late in life, if I'm lucky and my health improves with the work I put this old body into, I should be able to finish my days in peace.
  • All the best as you adventure here in the West, Jake. I'm a Coloradan, and one thing you might want to know is that Gravely Ls are few and far between. Enjoy your travels and new job.
