  • Remember friends, just watching the video doesn't make us instantly better, we've gotta put in the work, we've got this!
  • @Fshortz616
I like how he makes the videos not like a boring college lecture and makes it more fun and entertaining.
  • @ArcadeCrowMTG
Speaking as a complete beginner this video has been super helpful in giving me a framework and breaking it into small manageable parts. Thanks for making such a helpful guide!
  • This man is single handedly carrying my art journey 😭❤❤❤❤

Truly, if you have decided to grow your art skills through watching tutorials. Then you are on a good path. I can't stress the amount of time I wasted aimlessly doodling to no avail. I finally decided to look up practices such drawing boxes and then moving to gesture drawing and it really did wonders on my progress. I can say that I strongly grew from stage 1 to 5 within a month of giving myself 2-3 hours of practice a day. While he does provide stages to skills, I would like to stress that touching into higher stages may help with the growth of your current goals. Don't limit yourself, making mistakes paves the way for success and no one can judge you for wanting to improve.

The fact that he didn't only make an entire roadmap, but also his tutorial playlist, is in order of learning. Rather tham by date, shows the dedication this man has! I am arguably Ok at drawig, but I really wanted to put my shit together and actually git gud. And since I'd really like to make character design and animations on my free time, these videos will become astonishingly useful! This platform needs more content creators of this quality. Keep up the good work 👏

Gotta say this is exactly what I needed rn to understand where my skills are and how I can improve them. I’ve been watching some tutorials and all but haven’t had much progress. Great video dude, I’m just happy that yt recommended it to me.
  • I'm going to be honest, I've been searching the drawing basics for a relatively long time, and I have to say this is the most concise, informative, and helpful 0 to 100 guide video I've seen. Anyone that is starting their drawing journey should definitely watch this video, absolutely amazing !!!
  • @aishaw132
This is the the most organized practical guide I have ever seen that fits my learning/drawing style. Video nicely made! Keep making more. Love his sense of humor lol looking at my art... I can tell what steps I've avoided. It does effect my final drawings... I should be braver and attack those steps.

Not only is the content top notch, but your production values are stellar! This is a fantastic video, so well done. Thanks a million!

Your channel is the definition of peak. Your tutorials are amazing, with you conveying information in a way that is easy to digest, easy to follow, and I always feel like I actually accomplished something at the end of each video. Plus, I appreciate the jokes you incorporate, they always come at a very unexpected time and manage to catch me off guard. Well done, we need more creators like you!

  • @MollieHamel
thank you for putting so much time and effort into these videos. they have helped me to gain confidence and improve my art skills better than other tutorials I have watched.
  • Thank you for your wording! I've been trying for years to just understand what I didn't understand and now I feel like I have a good jumping off point to finally dive into this skill.
  • I remember when my drawings look so basic, arms were just rectangles and legs never look realistic enough, after I found your channel, now they look more better Thanks again for this amazing tutorial, I will continue supporting this channel to the end of time
