Omg thank you this is one of my weaknesses 😭🤚🏾
  • @Shaniko
I laughed ENTIRELY too loud at “And hopefully my accent doesn’t sound like I’m going to invade Poland.” 😂😂😂😂
  • As an old man 64 and never having any ability to draw I am trying to draw and these videos tick all my boxes. The humour is great and the information is outstanding. So thank you Marcel for sharing your knowledge and experience. One day I may be able to get further than drawing a circle and and a oval

I've learned in just 20 seconds from this dude. And finally, a comment section without annoying dudes who always says "But I can't draw a circle" Great job, Mr. German guy

He’s such a natural teacher, it feels like he’s sitting right next to me. 👍👍👍
  • @TRBLshooter
This is what a tutorial should be and not like an example of their style Most youtubers don't teach in detail like you and i hate it Big respect to you
  • @novastyleaces
The only Channel where I feel like I actually LEARN how to draw. Marcel YOU ARE HIM for this. 💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️
  • @CeeTheJay
The production valiues of your videos are outstanding. The comic timing of your edits and the other funny flourishes are not just entertaining, they're also highly effective. I believe you when you say it can take weeks to produce a single video. One of the best art tutorial channels on YouTube!

You literally killed me at 2:06 I love it! Then you revived me by teaching me how to draw hair <3
  • I stopped drawing over eleven years ago, there were plenty of times over the years that I tried to pick it back up but like any skill, I felt stagnant after too long without practice. Your videos have helped me get back to practice in a way that I don’t feel that I “lost my touch” while at the same time learning new small tricks to better myself than when I was at my best. Thanks Marcel!

Your tutorials are the most straightforward yet sophisticated I've seen. I hope by the end of the series (yes, I'm watching each tutorial in the playlist in order) that I will have elevated my drawing with the addition of consistent practice with reference photos. I typically draw via reference and just recreate whatever image I'm drawing but now I want to actually start making original looking pieces and this is the perfect series to assist with that. Thank you Marcel for all of the effort you put into your videos.
  • “When it doesn’t sound like I’m about to invade Poland anymore.” XD okay this is a criminally underrated channel! You really need more attention than you’re getting!

Im 33 and after roughly 10 years, I have rediscovered my love for drawing. Somewhere along the way, I forgot about my talent and passion for art. Recently, life has been heavy, and I have found that drawing is my best method for relaxation. I watched several tutorials and was very unimpressed until I came upon yours, which are incredible. You are funny, intelligent, encouraging, and demonstrate a method which really has been clicking for me. I just wanted to express my appreciation. Keep doing what you’re doing. You are providing a healing service Sir, thank you.🙌🏻💕
  • Right now your videos are my favorite drawing tutorials. I love how you show multiple styles and ways of drawing one thing instead of everything just in your style and calling it the right way. I also appreciate your use of guidelines :D
  • @LemonyFreshPine
Dude I'm so glad I found you. I've hit a wall, and your recommendation on life drawing videos was an amazing tip. Youre killing it. This was a snap sub
  • @ApparentlyNott
I just wanted to say this video helped me a lot. I've watched other, much longer tutorials which never helped me really understand the fundamental way in which hair grows the way this video has. I know making these tutorials must be a lot of work, but if you have the time would you consider making another tutorial about how to draw the head & neck? Perhaps from different angles including from behind (as shown at 2:13)? It might seem like there are already a ton of videos out there teaching just that, but your art style makes me really want to learn from you specifically, and your teaching style makes it seem less daunting. Thanks again :D

I have been watching this beautiful man draw for a few days now, and I can say that as an artist myself, Draw Like A Sur, you are amazing. Thank you for making these videos. I've got so much inspiration, and surprisingly, I'm better at drawing because of you. Like I sead before your incredible and keep up these great videos. 😁👌
