I AM THAT MONSTER - L's Speech - Death Note [Edit/AMV]

I used this speech in a lesson on how to deliver speeches in my English class. Glad that I got to quote the legend L Lawliet in public.

The voice actor does a superb job with this character.

L's speech is a homage to "Monster" by the greatest manga artist Naoki Urasawa. I'm surprised I only noticed this now.

L and Light both are this monster. Because the trait L told about it also fits Light's character and also L was killed by him as L said "I would likely be eaten by it".

I love how the girl said “Something you’re bad at or scared of?” L isn’t bad at anything, just scared of something. Completely ignored the bad at something part.

Loved how Near and Mello who weren't paying attention turned towards the screen at the right moment, as if they knew when L was actually giving useful advice that they can take in the future. They clearly held a great amount of respect for him.

This scene is so precious! The thought of L bothering to talk to these kids while he’s probably so busy is just like😍he even talks to them in his own voice!

I love how he just gets straight to answering what he is scared of and disregards the first part of her question. He is good at everything.
