Today we decided to install some awesome ground flood lights on the truck. Our truck did not come with the factory puddle lights so we decided to one up that and install a flood of light. It works the same as the factory puddle lights where they turn on when you open the door or press unlock on the key fob. Super easy install and way worth it. Not to mention it looks awesome.

Great job y’all did the same thing on my F 250 lariat maybe a bit of a pro tip as I installed the lights about every 6 “ I put a dab of gorilla super glue
  • @COLTSWAY
Hell yea, I prob should have ran my strip around the end like y’all, instead of drilling that little hole and running the wires threw that. If it fails I’ll do it this way. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

I just installed this same setup thanks to this video! I just used those solder connectors instead of standard solder. Worked great. The lights work just like y’all said and they look fantastic!! Quick question: how has the tape on the lights held up? Is it still holding?
  • @videtosk
Interesting how some people route wires...

Every time I bought these flex strip lights, they’ve had a broken spot.
  • @Merritt3246
Great video! I have one question, why didn't you just run the light strips from back to front, and cut off the excess, or did you not want to break the factory sealed end?
  • What's the name of the port/plug that was used to set up the lights? I'm trying to locate it on a 2010 f150.
  • @Noslo28
    I don’t see a plug on my 17’ superduty power stroke 😕
  • @DavidEAngell
Do you know if both driver and passenger puddle lights are supposed to stay on for a few seconds after locking the truck? I noticed they both come on when unlocking my truck but then only driver stays on for a few seconds after locking. Can't find a answer anywhere any information would be appreciated ty
  • @garybruno4360
How do you think this would work with running boards?
  • @micahhowell4432
What year is your truck? I have a 2017 and this would be perfect!
