"How was the game?" "It sucked, we lost 28-5" "Atleast you got a safety!" "It was baseball" "Oh."
-
The fourth touchdown was WILD!

I've never seen the Red Sox have both poor pitching and horrendous fielding in the same game before. This was fun for Blue Jays fans.
-
Fenway park is an incredibly old ball park and the Red Sox are an incredibly old franchise. For this to be their worst performance of all time is actually really shameful to this current Red Sox team.
-
Tapia almost got 2 grand slams (including in-field). Crazy game!
-
This definitely seemed like batting practice for the Blue Jays. They earned this win tonight.
-
- Every Blue Jays starter had at least 2 hits and 2 runs each. - Despite only scoring 1 run across the last 3 innings, they were one swing of the bat away from breaking the all time MLB record for a game, 2 runs shy of the record with 2 men on base in the 9th. Santiago Espinal did take a "home run cut" to try to make it happen, and was seen snickering after fouling off the pitch. - Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman jumped from 50th in run support, to 6th in a single game. Even winning by 22 runs, he stayed in the game to eat innings and earn credit for the victory, throwing 100+ pitches in the process. - Lourdes Gurriel Jr had the chance to break Frank Catalanotto's team record for hits in a game. Catalanotto went 6 for 6 in his game, Gurriel Jr went 6 for 7. - All 11 runs for the Jays in the 5th inning came only after the first two batters got out. - The Blue Jays actually fired their manager the week before the All Star break, while they were still in a playoff spot with a winning record. They are now 5-1 since the firing, with a run differential of 55-18. They scored 1 more run in this game than in the previous 5 games combined.

Watched this live was absolutely wild my grandfather was so confused when he saw the 28 score in baseball 🤣
-
Toronto said you may be in our division but you’re not in our league 😂😂😂
-
That instead the park grand slam was impressive, but the lackadaisical effort from that CF during that play is worthy of a DFA.
-
The Cubs beat the Phillies 15-2 that same evening. And they were thinking "we are going to be the #1 story on ESPN tonight"! Then another team comes along and almost DOUBLES their total!
-
3:51 Dan Shulman is the perfect commentator, just the disbelief is amazing
-
This was actually insane
-
Vladdy had 4 rushing TD’s tonight!!
-
3:00 Announcer: “It is 14 to nothing.” Jays: “Wanna see me do it again?”

A side story for many that will not know this. The Blue Jays first base coach had previously lost his daughter due to an accident, before the all star break. His first game back was this game. I'm going to chalk this game up as a favor from his daughter, which was given by the man upstairs! This game was divine intervention! The records set in the game and very close to MLB all time runs scored in a game.

I’m a sox fan, this game hurt. My friends and I started to want to see how many runs the jays could score
-
This game looks like when I play MLB the Show 22 on Beginner difficulty! 😂😂😂
-
The Jays scored as many runs as we used to score in RBI Baseball on NES.

Stellar pitching by Boston. Also the defense incredible. Great to be a Sox fan on nights like this 👌
