I’m just so glad that Mandy’s mother got to see the day of Justice for her daughter.

Him wearing gloves and taking trash HOME he basically told the whole bakery he was a murderer at that point what sane person does that 🤦🏾‍♀️
  • @aoime22
This could have been solved immediately if people just spoke up. It's so sad.

Why are there no comments thanking Kim for doing everything she could to get his DNA?? She was so brave knowing he could have caught on and being aware of his anger issues and she waited 3 whole months for the opportunity, had she gradually took her eye off the ball sometimes, she would have missed this one chance with the coke can and water cup! She’s so brave and should be proud of herself for being a key to giving Maddy’s family closure finally❤
  • The cop who didn’t give up on this case thank you! We need more like you. ❤️
  • @breeziebanks
Seeing Mandy’s cute little mother take the stand even after all these years was really a bittersweet moment. I’m so glad she got to put her daughters killer away while she’s still here. Rip Mandy and her brothers Brent and Spencer❤️

    1. There is so much power in community. 2. Misogyny, even in its ‘tiniest’ form is never harmless and should never go unnoticed. 3. Always trust your gut! Poor Mandy, glad she got justice

Kudos to the police for having enough training to get DNA evidence

This is why it's so important to keep these cases in the spotlight even if they go unsolved for many many years. This case took 30 years to be solved but the dedication of the detective is amazing. I'm just so happy for her family that they got to see Justice

I am so glad that Mandy's mom got to see the day that her daughter got justice.

Can’t believe the German Shepard came back home alone. Wonder what she saw to be cowering and tail between her legs. Poor baby 😢
  • When you’re at the point that you use gloves every time you touch something even in public, and take everything home to make sure no one can get your dna, you’re so very obviously guilty. No one is gonna do that unless they know they’re guilty

So much tragedy in one family is heartbreaking. Glad they finally solved Mandy’s case!

I'm kind of disgusted by the whole community tbh. The only reason Tim got away with it is because so many people protected him. The police never investigated him because his family had a good reputation, 2 women who were sexually harassed by him never spoke up, his wife lied for him, his mom was willing to lie for him, his boss' first reaction was to say it was above her paygrade, the HR department at his workplace demanded a warrant... And most of these people knew Tim was a misogynistic creep, it's gross that they protected him for 30 years.

The detective who worked on her case for all those years is a hero. I hope justice come to all scumbags like him.
  • Woman’s intuition is crazy. The way we can put shit together from almost nothing is crazy and it either me 100% right or just barley wrong. It’s fr crazy I amaze myself with it sometimes
  • Also I LOVE Mandy’s sister saying that she was way way way out of this monsters league. She’s amazing and so glad her sister get the justice she so desperately deserved
  • Thank you for covering this case Bella! Mandy's murder changed my life and the life of my husband and every other child who went from being carefree running around town with little supervision, at least until the street lights came on. I woke up the morning after the day she went missing and there were hundreds of ppl at the fire department a block down the road as well as more county and state Police than I'd ever seen at one time. At breakfast my grandpa sat down with us and told us Mandy was missing and we weren't to leave the house unless we were in groups of 4 or more and a parent outside with us. You'd think we would be angry about the new lack of freedom, but we were so scared that we welcomed an overprotective parent tagging along with us all the time. The mention of her name would reduce any mature teenager or adult to tears. We were so frustrated with the case going cold. My husband and I were shocked when Whatcom county Sheriff's office did the press release announcing the arrest of that evil POS! Mary was both of my children's bus driver and I remember when I was standing at the bottom of my quarter mile long driveway with my daughter waiting for the bus and Mary very sharply told me that I was never to stand on the road and wait for her because our house is one of like 10 houses and they're all very spread out, so someone could very easily grab me or my daughter and no one would see or hear our cries. I was so busy with an infant and a toddler that I totally didn't think about the danger I could've put myself in. I waited at the bottom of the hill behind a tree after that and Mary would honk and wait for us to walk up the hill and then she sat there while I jogged back down the hill and around the corner where traffic could no longer see me. We had this routine for like 8yrs. Again, thank you for telling Mandy's story! RIP Mandy Stavic forever young beautiful and in all our hearts! 💜

Thankfully Mandy’s Mom lived long enough to see justice be served for her daughter. 💗 Rest in peace Mandy. 💞

Can we appreciate how beautiful Mandy was!! Such a sad case. I definitely think it was premeditated but I can understand as Bella said they couldn’t be sure as they didn’t want to put it in the sentencing just in case it went through a mistrial or worse he wouldn’t get sentenced at all.
