  • One correction :- shri krishna cursed ashwathama not because he killed 5 son of pandavas ,but because he launched brahmastra and tried to killed Abhimanyu's son which was just a fetus in womb of his mother(uttara)
  • @join2manish
Mahabharata has at least 1000+ characters, 10,000+ twists and turns in the story, one entire life is less to understand it all, thus the mega EPIC
  • @deepagurung4499
correction: sahdev actually didn't ate the part of his father directly he ate through the ants who ate his fathers body
  • @SayakMunshi
I wish Netflix/Amazon Prime remakes Mahabharata with GOT kind of budget. Can't imagine how epic it would be... and would be praised worldwide. Mahabharata is the wisdom we need to share with the entire world.

It is said that as Ashwatthama is a chiranjeevi(Immortal) and is still roaming on earth suffering, He would also be one of the people around the other 6 immortals who will help Shri Kalki(Upcoming avatar of Shri Hari Vishnu) to fight kalipurush when kaliyug will come to an end. Also Shri Kalki would give him his forehead gem back which would make him powerfull again regain his youthfullness.
  • Barbarik was an AI. It functioned in a very particular way: 1. Locate targets for attack 2. Locate points that shouldn't be attacked 3. Attack target points Our ancient literature and their gradual translations translated the complete function as Barabarik's 3 arrows - The first arrow identifies enemy, Second arrow saves the allies and the third attacks the enemy. Barbarik was later found as a Metal head and is now worshipped as Khatu Shyam ji. If you could notice his eyes and the metal skull, it is evident that he was no ordinary person. Technology-wise India was way more advanced during Mahabharata than our ancient texts could record.
  • Correction:- Ashwathama was cursed because he killed Abhimanyu and Uttara’s unborn child by launching Bramhastra on Uttra’s womb, Rest i would Thankyou and appreciate your efforts to bring the facts to public❤
  • corrections : 1. draupadi had asked for 5 unique qualities in her husband in her previous life that could not be inculcated altogether in one person... so fate decided to marry her to 5 husbands. 2. lord krishna cursed ashwathama because he did foeticide of abhimanyu's wife when she was pregnant.

Please bring more such content on ancient India instead of crime mysteries.

Some corrections; 1.Shri Krishna was indeed furious at Ashwatthama for killing the five sons of pandavas. But what let him to invoke the Sudarshan chakra to remove the gemstone from Ashwatthama's forehead was because even after killing those 5 he dared to attack the unborn child of Arjuna's son Abhimanyu's wife(Uttara) 2. Both Nakul and Sahdev ONLY had mustured up the courage to take A BITE of their father's corpse as instructed by Pandu. While Nakul gained the power of understanding and communicating with animals and was a specialised animal doctor; Sahdev got the power of astrology and forecasting the future however he was forbidden to tell his visions about the future because it could cause a calamity. 3. Draupadi was an incarnation of 5 ladies into one human body. If im not wrong(i dont remember clearly) those 5 ladies was cursed but later blessed to have their desired qualities husband. Thats why draupadi resulted to have 5 husbands where each represented the desired qualities. As for the intimacy, draupadi had a deal with their husbands that she will dedicate each of them one year respectively turn by turn to live as real husband and wife. So did she get intimate with all of them?=YES By the way, my explanation is based on some research I did. There may be other versions also. Edit: read the replies under my comment also for others research and opinions please. Thanks

Very nice information. But to adding to your story about Astras and technology, the other part well explained in Mahabharata is about various military formations used during the war. Famous example is Chakravyuh. We only hear about this formation but there were around 21 formations used during the 18 days of war. Another famous formation is one which was used to save Jayadratha. So to conclude, the formations used were way ahead of its time and we still do not have that knowledge of such formations.
  • 2:37 Krishna cursed aswathama not after killing 5 pandav sons but krishna curses him when aswathama used brahmastra
  • @anshbhoot5597
Barbarik is also know as Shri Shyam baba who has a dedicated town in rajasthan known as Shri Khatu Shyam dham
  • @RoutesnFoods
Not Draupadi, right before the beginning of war, Shree Krishna was sent as a peace messenger and on behalf of Pandavas, he requested only 5 villages from Duryodhan. But in response Duryodhana denied to give away the land even equal to a Needle’s tip. That’s the reason which sealed the deal and lead to war.
  • @AZ-ed1xx
I'm a Muslim but I've seen the whole Mahabharata and have learnt many tactical things about life and situations as it is prescribed in every religion that you should learn from which very source you get knowledge !! Bring much such videos !!
  • 5:26 one correction, barbarik didn't give promises to his mother, His guru told him to fight from weak site. And another thing, his mother morvi didn't teach him, his grand mother hidimba taught him every sastra kriya❤
  • Why Draupadi is always blamed for the war...I have a correction to make in what u said ..The Pandavas did not just fight the war for revenge or avenge their wife's insult but because they wanted to conquer peace in the whole Kingdom & this guidance was given by Krishna bhagwan himself whereas Duryoshan fought the war for his selfish motives
  • @murthyharshith
Sudha Murthy Maam's books have explained all this in very good detail. Unusual tales from Indian mythology and Serpents' revenge are books!
  • Twinkle, you are really a great storyteller🎉🎉❤ The stories you bring becomes more interesting with the way of your articulation ❤ 😊😊
