In today's video, I'm challenging myself to re-decorate my dining area entirely using home decor from Dollar Tree and a little bit of creativity! Dollar Tree is an incredible store with a $1.25 price tag that makes home decor so much more be accessible to those who can't afford to spend more, but sometimes it's a challenge brining these things together! So today, I'm putting it to the test and seeing if I can achieve the luxe look for less using ONLY Dollar Tree products! Do you think I'll be successful? Comment ✅ if yes and ❌ if no!!!!

Hi!! By designer dollar tree, I meant this dollar tree feels designer to me as compared to other locations! If you’re in Pittsburgh, I recommend the dollar tree in Robinson next to VCF and the dollar tree next to HomeGoods in Cranberry Township!

I love your videos. Anyone can just buy expensive stuff. It takes an interior designer extodinaire, like you, to make it REALLY fun

Nothing to do with the place setting challenge, but rockin’ the peplum tube top is everything! You look great!!
  • @kendrairvin8350
Honestly, I think you crushed it, and I would love to see more Dollar Tree challenges please!😊

I think you were closer to your $30 budget than you thought. Most people probably would probably use silverware they already have. They may even have drink ware or the main plates or napkins. So don't worry about going over the budget. You killed it.

Thanks for sharing. I love your ideas! To save money, I would eliminate the long stem wine glasses and just get the stemless wine glasses (or vice versa). For aesthetics, I would pare down some of the leaves on the coastal floral picks just a little, place the silverware inside the napkin pocket with the floral pick, then place on top of the dish or to the side of the dish (that's just my personal preference). I would probably get a couple extra flour sack dish towels, stitch them or hot glue them together lengthwise, fold them in half or thirds lengthwise (whichever works for the table), and use that as a table runner. Maybe get some thin rick-rack ribbon that looks like twine (which a person can probably get inexpensively at Walmart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or Joann's), and hot glue the ribbon down the sides lengthwise of the white flour sack table runner to give it some visual interest and to match the twine ribbon on the napkins. I love your idea of using the gold medal plates as candle holders! Lovely ideas for a high end look dinner scape! Thanks again for sharing!

  • One of your best videos!! Love seeing you in the store and your thought process!! Fabulous!!💕
  • @deehoward2351
I'm glad I watched. Thank you for showing different versions of the same setting. You aced the challenge. If people really notice, sometimes the higher priced stores have the same things as lower priced stores but at different price points and versions. Like you said, you just have to use your imagination and creativity. Thanks again.

I love this video. Please do more elevated looks from the dollar tree!
  • Love this, I gave a tea party at church and I want to do a garden party next year, if you do theme parties or tables, these are the ones I want, if you do the tea party, I would assume you have teacups, saucers, and top pots, but I would love some new ideas. I hope you do more tablesettings like this
