You show that the red (positive) banana clip with a white wire goes in the left-hand socket and the black (negative) banana clip with a black wire goes into the right-hand socket (facing the P4500i generator. The P4500i generator wiring diagram shows a black power wire and a white neutral wire and it also states: Grounding System (AC): Neutral Floating. Which banana clip is the neutral... red or black? Does the red always go in the left and the black always in the right or does it matter? The 50amp outlet at the other end: at 12 o'clock is the ground. At 6 o'clock is the neutral. Are 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock joined so they are both hot? Or is 3 o'clock hot from one generator and 9 o'clock hot from the other generator and there is no neutral at 6 o'clock? Do you know if there is a wiring diagram somewhere of the A058M290?

Doesn’t the manual for the p4500i say to only parallel it to another 4500i?

I have a question. I am about to use this for my RV in a week with 2 p4500i would I still need to use the surge protector?

This hookup is incorrect. Black goes on the left side and red goes on the right side per Manuel and representative from Cummins.
