Hey good job, A lot of good honest and no bull info here and no big ego here protecting his decisions - GREAT job bro!
  • Thank you for the feedback it was very helpful. I'm still leveling our pool site on our sloped yard. I have a feeling I might have to slightly recess a few pavers to make them all level. Today instead of renting a grass sod roller I drove over the spot with our ride on lawn mower to compact the dirt. I'm also planing on adding a carpet piece underneath the pool with a tarp (maybe two tarps, sandwiching the carpet). Helpful hint for others...I found a large piece of carpet at our local Habitat for Humanity Renew store, dirt cheap and new carpet not someone else's nasty old carpet. :) I will let you know how it goes.
  • You could do a video to show the pool at night. I noticed you have some lights around it .. amazing tips in this video. Thanks! 🇧🇷
  • Intex sent me a new pump and seems to be working fine and producing chlorine. The new pump definitely feels more powerful coming out of the return.
  • I bought one i live in Chicago i sure hate the winter here hope the pool will hold up

Great videos I live in Houston and have an above ground pool I’ve had one for 25 years we’re on number two now which it’s eight years old working great just a reminder I have woken up to a floating possum that had drowned and a couple of squirrels that have drowned please make sure there’s somewhere that these animals can get a hold of the ladder or a floaty or something where they can get out if they fall in

Hello thanks for all the great advice. Just wondering if you can share measurements for how many bags of mulch? Thanks
  • @Tortugha
Where did you get your tarp? Thank you for sharing. Very helpful 👌.
  • Nice Job! Looks great! I'm getting ready to set up our pool, and I wonder how the above ground pavers are working for you? Do you feel the liner might be stretched a bit by having the pavers above ground? Also, do your feet feel the pavers in the pool? I would like to install my pool like yours, but I feel like I need to recess the pavers in the soil. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

You may have answered this, but what material is around the pool? Seems like standard mulch but wasn't sure.
  • Trying to do this exact thing now! I don't have the pool in hand yet, but am going to get materials to make a spot. How many pavers did you buy? I can't find how many legs the pool has, anywhere
  • @shelleyj3
Hi! As far as the pavers, did you set the pavers down level with the ground that you had leveled for the liner, or are they just placed on top of the ground? Thanks so much for the great videos.
  • How much sand did you use under the tarp? Also, with the pavers as you filled the pool did the liner ever push up against the pavers? I seen this problem in other videos how do you avoid this happening?

i have this same pool i have had it for 3 years now its a good pool but can tell the liner is getting thin on the bottom as these pools get older the liner gets real thin and over time the windows go from clear to a yellow color because mine is doing that i only bought this pool because the bigger pool i have needs a new liner and deck replaced was going to cost more so i got this same pool as a cheap replacement until i get the money to fix my other pool

We have this exact pool and I want the very same look. Its really nice. I am starting tomorrow to remove the sod. Also picking up the brown rubber mulch, has there been any concerns with it so far?
  • @NurseCarnivore
could you use cut up pool noodles for the top piping, as far as keeping it out of the sun maybe when not using or just all the time?
