I'm a beginner. owning Quest 3 for a few days and your video made it clear for me. Thank you!
  • @FatswellSmart
so it all started with installing a custom (bloat free) os then after realizing i still needed more performance i started one by one turning all of my services off until i got them around 90 at startup . thank you your video was the last step i was missing to achieve maximum power from my ageing rtx 3070. ac has never looked more beautiful.
  • I've been using an Odyssey+ for years, but just ordered my Q3 yesterday, should arrive in time for the weekend. This information is quite valuable, thanks!

I wanted to thank you for getting me set up for my first VR flight on MSFS. It was amazing! I had flown on the PC before but the VR took it to new heights.

Great advice on the storage size for pcvr use 💚 Also appreciate the info on cable reliability
  • @Castdeath
For people that start to have audio issues over ~600 Mbps, try turning off the audio from the quest 3 and get the audio from headphones connected to the PC separately instead (say with bluetooth). This worked for me, allowed me to crank the bit rate beyond 600!

Thanks for the video, really great tips! I got a cable with an extra usb one can use as power supply and it pretty much maintains the headset power where it was. I was reluctant to get a quest3 due to my pc being somewhat outdated now (i9-9900k, geforce 2080 super), but for the price I thought I'd give it a try. I was a bit skeptical because of the latency, too, but it runs reasonably well at 72hz and the latency is almost unnoticeable :D

Amazing video brotha! Clear and easy to follow. Best video on the subject 100%!
  • @MrNeilRoberts
Great vid - I’ve been messing with VDXR and Oculus link and come to same conclusion - link is still best and the other benefit is ASW much better than SSW (VD) for MSFS
  • @Pandafuix
Great video. Very detailed and easy to follow with some great tips
  • @nguarnieri1
I got the exact same problem with the usb (amd vs Intel). Your workaround worked perfectly! Thanks!!
  • @Space-O-2001
Thanks for the video some great tips. Just to share in the hope it helps others, I have a Wifi 6e router in my man cave (linked to main router in hallway via LAN over power) and run steam link. it's so easy to setup it's a real joy. Still get the occasional glitch but it is more than tolerable (can even run 120 FPS) and seems to get better over time. Other options to charge at the same time is the KKCOBVR A2.

THANK YOU for the USB tip, I was having crazy frame drop issues anytime I was wired and now they're gone
  • @mnxxxv5986
the way to bypass the 500 mbps limit is amazing, it finally solved my artifacting issues, thank you very much good sir!
  • @mavelaw
Thanks for this, very helpful indeed!
  • @Eskoxo
They did not include $2 worth of parts to make displayport work over usb-c protocol so they could sell you that $80 cable... that requires janky software and extra load/latency on the gpu...
  • I use a OC 3060 12GB for Automobilista 2 and Half Life Alyx, thru a wired Pico4. The performance is pretty decent! Playable framerates with turned down graphic settings but still good looking.
  • @PaddyPatrone
Awesome, thanks! So cable link gives you better overall performance compared ti air link, correct?
