The F22 didn't have his radar on because he didn't came from afar to intercept you. He actually entered Russian airpace unnoticed and parked in your hangar, then departed with you to shoot you down as soon as you crossed Alaskan airpasce. He was there from the start.

bro, the f22 has gotta be one of the spookiest fighters in the US arsenal (that we know of) it isnt a common feat to be able to pull up on a enemy fighter in your own fighter, visually identify their payload, then form up on their left wing then make direct eye contact and say over radio "you should go home now" and they actually listen. that right there just shows you the power of the f22

I love that the entire time this was supposed to be a BVR combat simulation and the F-22 was, in fact, going STRAIGHT at him without radar and just decided to not only pull up alongside him, but take his time doing it.

This actually happened to an Iranian F-4 fantom by an American F-22 The F-22 didn't shoot him down.. Two Iranian aircraft moved to intercept a drone, one of the escorting Raptors also made a move and flew up underneath one of the approaching Phantoms. After taking a moment to glance up at the armament carried by the two F-4s, the F-22 pilot then pulled up alongside the left wing of one of the adversarial aircraft and hailed them, telling the Iranian pilots that they “really ought to go home”.
