This glass splashback makes a colorful feature in the kitchen. Painted in reverse on with the addition of 23.5ct gold leaf. This uses the same materials and techniques for traditional gold leaf signwriting.

    Stunning work! What is the card/knife tool you used to cut the gold? I’ve never seen anything like it and I’m intrigued! I use a Kolner gilders knife & pad and I need more practice I suppose because I can never get a clean cut.
