This neighbor was with us throughout the whole transformation, he even wanted to ride our scag v ride 2. This is Houston grass for you, the city never takes care of vacant properties like this one. We even had to bring out our stihl hedge trimmer for this one, and machete. It sure came out beautiful in the end, probably the best yard on the street.

One thing I remember a rich man once told me, he owned a big construction company. "You don't hire Rembrandt and then try to tell him how to paint." You guys are the best!

Neighbor has NO IDEA he is speaking with the masters of yard transformations-lol yall are awesome
  • Thank you for your compassion on a bored, lonely man who needed something to make him feel better about himself. God bless you M&D!
  • You showed incredible kindness to that young man. I believe he may have a developmental disability/delay; he just wanted to help and interact. He even worked on his own yard when y'all showed up. Not only did you clean up a yard, but you also validated that young man and made him feel seen. Keep up the good work and God bless from Alabama! ❤

Daniel one act of kindness can last a lifetime. You and your dad are amazing.
  • That young man reminds of my nephew who is autistic. It was so nice of you to let him help. The neighborhood looks so much nicer now. Blessings.

I'm one of your biggest fans but I think the birds are your #1 fans 😊
  • I think that young man (the helpful autistic neighbor ?), had watched you two for a while and thought he could do it as well. And even though he didn't do anywhere near a great job, in his mind he did. And that will stay with him for very long time. You never know how much you two helped that young guy. He certainly felt like he helped you two. And in a way he did. Thanks for your compassion and kind hearts... Thumbs Up!

The birds, as always, say thank you too. Looks amazing.
  • 102 degrees, hot bright sun, grass two feet tall, brother drunk as a lord at 10am, and the ground is oozing water. Yes Sir ! Houston. Good job my friends.
  • You alot of patience and compassion with the "helpful" neighbor. I know it slowed you down, but you made his day.😊
  • @sinistar426
Your dad is like a surgeon with that string trimmer. I bet he could cut a lawn with just a trimmer, a rake, some garbage bags, and a blower. Great job !!!

I think the yard transformation went better than the neighbor's transformation. You two are so kind and patient.
  • I think the young man might be autistic. Thank you for letting him help you (even though he was slowing you down). Amazing work as always! Take care! 🌞💜🍀
  • I think you are both gentlemen and you handled that with kindness and respect.
  • You both are very caring and compassionate men. You showed such kindness and respect to the young man.

This corner lot was massive! You’re right, all grass, which is nice to see instead of a yard full of weeds. Daniel, you and your Father handled the help with grace, patience, and good manners. I am glad it all worked out in a positive way for a very gratifying transformation.

What a beautiful home. It's a shame it's left empty and not being taken care of. You did a great job as always.

I’m so glad that you let the neighbor help even though he had his own way of doing things. Your dad is the best edger and he makes it look so easy. Love your videos and can’t wait for the next one. Have a good weekend.
