In this 80 minutes video, I reveal the greatest bicycle trip of my life: coast to coast from Washington DC to Eugene, Oregon. A journey that lasted 80 days, touching 15 different states, four time zones, several climates, environments and mountain passes, for a total of over 6000 km (3757 miles), of which 1151 km were of gravel (the 19%)!
A very big and brave step - this journey is 10 times longer than my longest bike tour so far! Not being an athlete, with no real preparation and in a foreign country, I was never sure of making it, until the last day: this uncertainty enhanced the taste for the unknown and the thrill of discovery.
Something so vast, in terms of distance and time, escapes control and predictions, making it an adventure to be calibrated and faced day after day, always moving forward. As many obstacles and problems as fun, surprise and joy.
Follow my journey, watch the video till the end, a true crescendo across the United States 80 days long, to discover the magic of a solo and self contained tour. (Note: no sponsors or third parties involved in the trip and in the making of this video)

I'm a 73 yr. old Canadian cyclist, and have always dreamed of an Adventure such as this, but for now, you make it posible through your eyes, your experience. Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful journey.

Blown away by your narration, your videography, all of it. How can one not want to travel the world by bicycle after watching this?? Magnifico!!

As a cyclist, photographer, and traveler - an amateur in each! - I have the richest praise for this video. It's fascinating to see and experience America through the eyes of a visitor to our country. Thank you!

As a drone pilot I was fascinated by your perspectives, Vlad. As a retired cyclist, now, at 80 years old, riding an e-bike, your determination was great to experience. Congratulations on the ride, the production, and your valuable insights.

Right on, Brother! I'm 72, with a new hip and a new knee. I have been riding more than ever before. I am planning a 250 mile trip this summer, and this video has inspired me to follow my dreams. I have ridden most of my life, but have only started bike touring recently. I'm getting stronger and stronger, and as far as I'm concerned, the sky is the limit. What have I got to lose at my age? I'm freakishly healthy, and I might as well enjoy it. Thank you so much for the inspiration, the good vibes, the beautiful scenery, and the knowledge that we are, indeed, stronger and more resilient than we could ever imagine. Be Well, my friend, and Prosper!

Made me feel love for my own country again. Thank you.

Brilliant! One of the best cycling videos in terms of camera work, narration and most importantly telling a story of a personal goal from heart! That drone shot of horses in Montana took my breath away!

The video is of true traveller describing America as he sees it while riding on his bike! Production quality is excellent. Thank you, Vlady!

I love watching ultracycling/long distance cycling documentaries, yours has to be one of the best I`ve ever seen! You did a great job condensing this enourmous jouney into a 80 min movie, a truly pleasure to watch and to listen too. Congratulations for completing this insane trip, and for this wonderful film! Thanks for sharing, best wishes!

Cool video and it looks like it was a heck of a journey. I think my fellow Americans forget how massive, diverse, rugged and just plain beautiful our country try is. We sometimes need a foreign to remind us.

Not a lot audience with you during the actual ride, but a lot of them now enjoying your beautiful and epic journey. Thank you for taking us along with you.

Wow, amazing adventure. Great work with video editing. When I was 26 years old, I rode across the United States . It’s a wonderful, feeling discovering something new every day that you have never seen before.

The people you meet in middle (little towns) America might be the nicest you ever meet.

Dear Vlady, usually I do not comment on YT videos but your movie made me want to contact you. Your movie took me away immediately! I was impressed by your footage, the esthetics of your camera work, the sound track and above all your thoughts and learnigs along the way! On top you gave me an impression of the United states I had never expected. I have a thousand questions about your journey - maybe I can cover them on your blog and website. Thank you for sharing your journey with the world!
  • @hannahzander9541
Congratulations on completing a trip many dream of but will never do. Awesome video. Thanks for taking us along.
  • @telcobilly
This video helps to restore faith in Americans when all you see on the news and internet is depressing. Happy to see that small town living is still a thing. I knew there were trails for hiker/bikers but not as extensive as this video shows..
  • @johnlee7085
Great job presenting the USA, and the unique perspective from a bicycle.
  • @gedofgont1006
Wow! A truly beautiful film and a fascinatingly different perspective on an incredibly diverse country. Those early cycle trails were just amazing! I had no idea they existed. As for the people you met along the way, they are what makes me believe America is the greatest country on the planet. Thank you so much, Sir. You've inspired me to keep cycling and maybe, one day, I'll do the same journey you did. ❤🎉😊
