It´s time to buy a new Mall Crawler because we got bored with our old one. Our LR4 was just too reliable for us and there was no work left to do. We might as well drive a Toyota and drink coffee around the clock. Not with us. Our new LR4 Mall crawler came with all sorts of little issues which we can fix down the road. In this episode we take you along how we picked and bought our new car and did the first easy repairs.
We are not liable for any harm you do to your car, your engine, your surroundings or yourself. Use the information given in this video at your own risk.

We hope you enjoy this episode and thanks for watching,
Vera & Christian

  • So the other day my wife walks in the room scowling asking me who is Vera. I look at her perplexed and tell her I don't know. Then she hands me a handwritten letter and after a second I get a big smile. My stickers and patch have arrived. The wife still scowling suddenly says, is that from the German couple on YouTube. I say yes and she rolls her eyes and says oh my god... I say exactly!
  • I get the impression Christian is trying hard to hide his excitement. The more problems, the happier he seems. Love these videos. Thank you Christian and Vera.

There is no better feeling than fixing something that somebody else including professionals were not able to fix. Another great video!

Watching your videos is becoming a ritual every sunday morning, I enjoy it very much; keep on filming!

It's Sunday and we get an extra hour to watch LR time
  • Lovely D4!! … your guide to buying a new D4 is 100% correct!! First step… get Christian to look at it!!
  • @leejordanful
A lovely video. Your joy at fixing the transmission problem was infectious! Looking forward to future videos.
  • i have a 2010 disco 4, 3.0 TDV6 HSE, i bought it in the Uk i;m British. i've never had a problem with it despite all the holidays in Ukraine on the appalling roads here. I took it to Ukraine on the 26th Feb and started evacuating families over the border at Uzerhorod. Driving thru the Carpathians every day fetching and carrying about 300 people thru ice & snow, minus 25c. Then i went to Odesa and drove from there to Constanta taking more families out and bringing in supplies of food, military kit & meds. Day in day out the vehicle was beautiful, handling superb, fuel economy not bad averaging about 8 litres per 100 kms. about month 4 of the year i was ferrying soldiers out to training camps where we instructed them in NATO methods across severe terrain for 5 weeks. Had to change the suspension bushes and some sort of arms and the suspension was like new. The Prop Shaft rattles a little and needs changing. Only broken item is the rear washer has stopped. Thing with these amazing vehicles it to service them regularly, Taken on board your advice vis a vis Oil! Still here and hauling people and stuff around in Nikolaiv. Our work has changed, the chaos, panic & fear is no longer and the vehcile keeps going. Winter is coming but a Disco 4 can handle that...

For a moment there I thought you were going to reject the new Mall Crawler because it did not have enough issues! I am looking forward to the work you do on it!
  • The Discover4 is a great car it's the perfect blend of a great car to drive and a great utility vehicle. Love your energy both of you. Keep them coming.

Excellent video guys, busting the myth that you can’t fix your own Landrover.
  • Fantastic to see that clearing the adaptation values sorted the shift clunk. My 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE never goes near a main dealer.
  • Another bloody awesome video, love the look of the late discovery 4.
  • @bigfilsing
can you imagine trying to sell an LR to these pair !! The poor guy didnt stand a chance :-)
  • nice to see such joy, first thing on a sunday morning,😉 dont know what I would do without you 🤣🤣
  • It’s a shame most people don’t take pride in their work. Especially at dealerships when a lot of money is exchanged. Every dealership needs a Christian and Vera working on our vehicles. That would be awesome.

I bought an LR3 in Istanbul about 3 years ago. When I moved from Istanbul to Berlin in 2022, it was the only thing I regretted selling. After 1 year waiting for the license, Now I'm making the 2nd meeting with the seller to get an LR4 tomorrow. 2011 model HSE w/out panorama, at 200,000 km , full checkbook in land rover service, 14.000k EUR. Now I'm going to make a checklist by watching this video for the 3rd time ! and impersonate you on the appointment tomorrow morning :)
