Our Land Rover Range Rover L405 is grounded, because it is a serious death trap. Land Rover did not issue a safety recall at this time in Germany, which leaves many owners lifes exposed to a large risk.
Please check out our video to learn about the high risk. Immediately check out if your L405 or L494 is effected as well.

I had exactly the same, mine was just newer than recall and Land Rover were having non of it. I even went to the DVSA here in the UK to highlight the danger, they too not interested. Zero concern from Land Rover on this one, glad your highlighting.

Looking up from underneath and seeing a crack, LR Time never fails to deliver 🤣

I just love the way that Christian explains a situation/problem. When he is finished there is no drought or questions. Christian you should do "After Dinner Speeches" with the topic "How to make a mountain out of a molehill". You have "Desktop Mechanics" another YouTuber has "Health & Safety Police" (UK)

Sir I have recently joined your channel. You are an online technical library. Love your videos. Lots of love and respect from Pakistan ❤

Brilliant video as per usual. Christian, your next project car should have the JLR 2.0 litre Ingenium diesel engine in it. There are a lot of them around, and by all accounts it will surely provide you with endless video footage for this channel, especially if you get a car where it's mounted transversely, because that appears to be related to all sorts of grief related to emissions reduction systems.

I would love to see you pick up an XJ. I think it's one of the nicest Jags ever produced. Massively underrated. You don't see many of them on the road.

In Australia a few years ago I had one of Australia's biggest selling cars. The a/c hose leaked out all the gas right on warranty expiry (on time, the car was low klms). The dealer said they had never seen that issue before however the internet was full of discussion on the exact issue. Even a mate who worked at a dealer said it's a common problem. Never trust what the dealer says 😞
  • Thank you so much for this video, I have a L494 and definitely going to check this out. Ralph from South Africa 🇿🇦

Well done Christian, take it to JLR. The designer of the L405 was Gerry McGovern, blame him. The fault would have been picked up on the R&D testing, so shame on you JLR.

Becarefully, Landrover might sue a utuber for a negative review of their engineering skills. I think your effort is a valuable highlight for vehicle safety, globally, and how independent maintenance inspections are important.

Ah, it must be Sunday morning, top entertainment, thanks to you both.
  • Really excellent and very interesting. I think if this was taken to the dealer there is a possibility that the dealership may change the knuckles with Rand Rovers approval and raise an inspection request rather than have an official recall. Your approach was 100% correct. I'm sure now that this video has been on youtube and viewed 100,000s then Range Rover will act, they have too. Always a great show and very informative.
  • I also double click. Nothing wrong with doing that. I do hope that LR upgrade their recall for this issue. Thanks for the video.

Definitely buy the Jag, will have plenty of content potential.

29:56 🤔 All i can say is: YES! YES!🤠 But keep the queen to

Perfect! Can't wait for the Jag content. That's what I was missing here 👌

Land Rover don’t like paying for recalls. They never admitted the oil dilution issue with diesel Ingenium engines, just gave extra free oil changes until the car was out of warranty so the car was not their problem anymore…….. 😐

The roads in the UK are terrible and we are constantly banging in and out of potholes.
