Reki vs Adam | Sk8 the infinity Ep 11

This was easily my favorite episode. Despite still losing the beef, the fact that he was able to hold on to the very end and lose only by a hair is a massive victory for Reki, and an even bigger middle finger to ADAM who wrote him off as a nobody. I fucking love it.

This is one of the best scenes in the show. I had a feeling Reki would lose in the end but he still put up one hell of a fight 😝. MAD RESPECT

Reki losing was perfect. If he had won, Adam plot becomes unresolved and Reki's arc doesn't round out as nicely. He doesn't need to win was the important part

The most satisfactory part was when Adam tripped up not one but twice 🤣🤣🤣

I love that Reki manages to fight back not with his skating ability but with his technical knowledge. He may not have the raw skill of the others but he can still keep up by using his head.

The fact that he managed to get to the finish line with Adam is an accomplishment.

Sometimes i think this scene is better than Adam vs Langga

What i love about this is the parts not shown in the clip even though he lost, Reiki was the one who was celebrated. In all ways that count Reiki won. Reiki through great strategy and his own pure love of the sport was able to almost win against a way more technically great skater who was playing dirty the whole time. He only lost because of his tire wheel and it was barely a loss. After the race the audience cheered for Reiki, no one cared or clapped for Adam. Instead, they all talked about Reiki. Yeah Adam is a great skater who is on a whole other level than Reiki but who would want to root for someone like him. Adam spent the whole race beating up his opponent, and playing dirty. He basically was doing all he could to kill Reiki. The audience who were just cheering for Adam because of his skill and legacy alone got to see what he was clear, a messed up terrible guy, and they had enough and instead cheered and rooted for the one who deserved it. They would not let Adam enjoy his victory instead they gave their love and celebration to the one who actually deserves it. Reiki who is just an enthusiastic guy who loves skateboarding. He has a clear passion, and everyone loves and prefers an underdog to a bully.

Reki having a board fall apart when he’s constantly doing maintenance was the most plot armor shit ever

Honestly , I knew that Adam would win , but for me Reki won . Just by seeing Adam almost killing Reki by swinging him around and the scene with the rocks made it unfair tbh . 😐

I love miya here!! He so worried about reki 🥺 protect miya at all cost

I love this scene dearly, because while he may have lost the fight, Reki won the war. While Adam witnessed the twisted foundation of pride he had built up crumble before his eyes, Reki found his spark again, and with it, the courage to skate for enjoyment and passion rather than victory. If he had remained hung up on his shortcomings, and just how far away his unrealistic standards were, he NEVER would have done this well against Adam of all people. Reki played to his strengths, his knowledge, and intuition and I LOVE HIM FOR IT
