I'm not sure it was an intensional hoax. You're going to take the word of a tired, disinterested 6 year old who has been on interview after interview, show after show. Mayumi confessed, she doesn't have a great understanding of English, the police got her to the station under false pretences and without a lawyer. Also, Heene didn't make the Internet Historian video, it was unconnected to him.
