celebrating women's history month!

as you may know, march is women's history month! as a woman, this month is very important to me, so i decided to celebrate by making a blockshade of a woman who has inspired me for a long time! you probably have heard of her - Malala Yousafzai :)

Malala is from Pakistan and is currently 23 years old. when she was 15 (my age! :0) she was unfortunately shot and very very injured by a member of a group called the Taliban who didn't want girls in Pakistan to go to school. Malala and her family always fought for the rights of girls in Pakistan and their right to have an education. Malala luckily survived her injuries and now she travels all around the world making speeches and speaking out for girls everywhere <3
