Finally! After like, what was it....
Holy Moly! Six months??
Six months after I posted the lyrics to this song, I finally decided to sing it.
Quick Disclaimer:
Like I said, I wrote this song half a year ago, so obviously it's not the best. I wrote this before I properly knew how to write a song, so I completely ignored what "verses" and "post-choruses" and "bridges" were, but most of the stuff I wrote is pretty similar what those are. So I wasn't exactly Grace VanderWaal six months ago, but I'm a lot closer now (yeah, I've written tons more songs since then which I still wanna post).
But I mean, I'm still really proud of this song.
Also, I recently got a ukulele, which is why I put off posting this for a while, since I wanted it to be on the ukulele but was struggling to make a guitar composition. Don't worry, I'll put up a project with guitar chords soon.
Another disclaimer, I do theater, so my voice isn't like pop-song, cute, Grace VanderWaal like, but more like projection, power, and emotion. I know full well that I'm not the best singer xD
I might re-record this soon. I actually did not listen to the audio myself because I knew I would hate my voice and keep myself from sharing the project. The only people to have listened to the audio are two of my siblings xD

And I was really nervous when recording this. You definitely hear I'm nervous. And straining my voice. Gosh. I need to re-record this.

This song is about lifting up someone's spirits. If someone's happy, they can help spread their feelings to someone who's unhappy. This doesn't mean that being sad is bad (as stated in the "second verse": "Being sad isn't always bad"), or you should force someone to be happy, but sometimes it can be better to be happy.
