About WonderMonkey Outdoors

I'm Michael (Mike, Mikey) from WonderMonkey Outdoors & I'm here to take you along on my outdoor adventures.

I grew up with mountains as my backyard, and I would spend endless hours exploring them. My love for the outdoors never ended, and once adult life allowed, I jumped back "out there" by backpacking, hammock camping, studying bushcraft, and so on.

Recently, I purchased my first ATV (TRX420, Honda Rancher) as an adult (I had several as a youth) and will use it to explore places that are further away than I could get by backpacking.

As you come along with me, I'll explain the gear I use and why. If I'm discussing something I learned from somewhere else, I'll do my best to link you to that resource.
