Watch the Other Episodes in the Series!!    • 30 MORE Things that Don't make Sense ...

I noticed some pretty strange things during my time playing The Legend of Zelda breath of the wild. So strange in fact that I made a video about it going over 30 things that don't make sense to me. Yes I am going to be applying real world logic to The Legend of Zelda breath of the wild.

The list of secrets and weird glitches in Breath of the Wild continues to grow, such as bokoblins stealing your horse, eating your own paraglider and sheikah slate, and the Yiga Blademasters able to carry around the ancient flame. Launch Timing Update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sequel. The Legend of Zelda series producer has an update to share about the launch timing of the sequel to The Legend of #Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Please take a look.

My theory as to why the heat proof armor doesn’t work in the desert is that it has a internal cooling system to protect Link from the volcano, but it doesn’t work in the desert because sand gets in its gears

About link doing all the seemingly superhuman stuff we have to remember that even in the games he is regarded as somewhat superhuman and amazingly strong especially considering his size and that explains a lot of it.
  • I've always been amused how you can get your horse from a stable, leave it anywhere away from that or any stable, then go to ANY stable no matter how far away ... and they'll just fetch your horse you left miles in a few seconds. All stable employees must have some sacred Horse God summoning/teleportation powers...

Also have you realized that Link can devour an entire 3-course meal in one bite? He basically grabs the whole plate full of food and shoves the entire thing in his mouth, swallowing it all. Like, the plate, too.

The reason the shop is located up the town in death mountain is because the seller is clever. People who want to buy the armour have to first buy the heat protection potion to get up the death mountain. Then the seller can get more money lol
  • Stamina when treading water or hanging to a cliff is consumed. It is consumed at the same rate it is restored. When just standing, your stamina meter goes up; but while treading water or staying still while hanging to a cliff wall, your stamina does not get restored. Thus, it must be decreasing at a rate equal to the increase.
  • I like how in BOTW you can hit a massive log once with your sword and it will turn into a perfectly tied up bundle of wood.
  • #11 made so much sense that I never tried it during my gameplay because I wanted to make some realism, and I was aware what you did there was most likely possible to happen in that footage

The fireplace in Rito village is fine as the model is different from the other cooking pots, normal cooking pots don't have the little bars at the bottom (the bars are a safety, so the Rito's wings don't catch fire)
  • I honestly like it when games don't make tons of sense. Makes it feel more unique EDIT OMG 100 LIKES THANKS YALL!
  • For number 13, there are straps on the back of most shields. So when link is flying, the straps just keep the shield attached to his feet

I love annoying pedantry like this :) I also like that it seems to be a parody of all those "things you may have missed" videos. Definitely do a part 2!
  • The thing with the gerudo outfit is that riyu actually doesn't mind you being there, as long as you appear like a woman so you don't cause unrest. I think it's mostly an act for all the citizens.

0:11 A Korok on top of WHAT-NOW?? Thanks for bringing me one step closer to my Korok completion. 🤣

7:11 As a climber, i can verify that it takes a LOT of stamina to simply hold on. I'm no professional, but if you're cimbing at that angle, with hand and footholds made of natural rock that could break any moment, and is probably extremely hard to hold on to, you will not be able to hange there for an hour, and will DEFINITELY not be able to eat food on a plate. On an easier to climb surface, you might be able to reach into a small bag, grad an apple, and take a bite of it before continuing to climb, but that is about it.

“This furnace is dangerous” proceeds to attempt to light the wood with a torch

Two things I always wondered about 1. How does Link carry all that food and huge swords in that little pouch of his? 2. Vah Ruta is said to output an infinite supply of water, how is that possible and why hasn't all of Hyrule flooded by now?
  • Where did Link get a rope to wrangle wild sand seals? I don't remember finding that in a treasure chest. And if he has had one this whole time why can't he use it in other places where a rope w would come in VERY handy? LIKE CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN! Also, If Link can store unlimited stuff in his 'inventory' then why can't he store the shikha slate there? It would make a lot of sense to do SOMETHING to hide it considering that it's the one thing the Yiga clan can use to Identify him. Is Bolson aware that Link's name doesn't end in "-son"? How come you can fire off a barrage of explosive arrows strait into a dragon's face and it never seems to get mad even in the slightest? Is it really unperturbed by people slowly chipping parts off it's body?

If any form of wildlife (boars, foxes, deer, etc.) runs away from Link for a long period of time, they will disappear. Where do they go? Did they simply vanish from the face of the Earth? Did they materialize somewhere else? It will always be a mystery....
