I've been binging these iceberg videos recently and I realized that there were no Adventure Time ones. So here's my video explaining the iceberg I made (with help from the AT subreddit). Please let me know in the comments if you have any corrections or questions to the video as I plan on making a follow-up later on down the line.

So basically they gave Jake human vision and Finn dog vision? That's cute as fuck

The scariest part about the deer is that the creators said he survived having his the bricks dropped on him. They said that in another episode magic man turns him into a telescope. But since magic man lost his powers that could mean he changed back and is still out there.

There’s a comic strip made by the writers that shows jakes death. He dies of old age, starts to grow uncontrollably, PB throws him in the giant crater in the earth plugging it up and making the earth whole again. Even in death, he saved everyone
  • @polt1664
Damn I always wondered why James Baxter’s animation was way smoother than the rest of the show

SCARLET IS A YELLOW SWORD YET ITS CALLED SCARLET, THEY PLANNED HIM TO BE COLORBLIND

Damn that Pillow world theory... I'm sad. The fact that Finn doesn't remember a thing makes it even sadder...maybe it's even better if he forgets it.
  • Prismo's Boss might not directly be referenced, BUT, In an episode, the Cosmic Owl talks about a boss as well, which is probably both their boss

something bizarre that sticks to me to this day is lemonhope’s episodes, idk why but they had such bad vibes, they were the only episodes i felt close to what i felt on the deer one

The scariest thing about the deer, for me, is that there is seemingly no reason for him to do what he did. He had nothing to gain from the fucked up shit he did, he just seemed to enjoy creating a miserable, disturbed and depraved reality for himself

"Here's some pictures I whipped up showing what Finn sees" Me, also red/green colour blind "Ah yes, difference"

Speaking of tarot cards, the King refuses to fight Marceline because he sees it as "Subjecting himself to The Wheel Of Fortune", another tarot card reference, so given his force of will in trying to break the cycle, I'd say by the end of the episode he represents the Hanged Man, which stands for letting go of your position to find peace, learning from mistakes, and seeing life from a new perspective. He willingly goes through with the process of having his power removed at the end of the episode and effectively ends his previous life as the King of Vampires, so hey, the writers are incredibly good at what they do whether that was intentional or not.

I like how specific Finn got with the DMT facts. He was literally telling PB her subjects were having a near death experience.
  • “It’s all a dream” theories are honestly the biggest buzzkill for a series. These people need to have some fun for once in their lives.

"Before there was nothing, there were monsters" is honestly such a chilling concept that to this day that line gives me shivers. I can't see anyone other than Ron Perlman as that horrifying thing known as the Lich.
  • I full-heartedly believe that The Deer is one of the monsters from Before Nothing, along with being one of the Apostles of Golb. Alright, let’s look at what we know: - The deer just showed up in the Candy Kingdom one day and began terrorizing the populace. - After kidnapping all of the candy people, he began the process of taking the sugar out of them. - He has HANDS!! - He was able to kidnap and seriously weaken Peppermint Butler: also known as THE DARK ONE, and known acquaintance of DEATH and HUSON ABDEER (also a Before Nothing monster). His actions cause chaos all over the kingdom and (almost) mass genocide, which goes along with Golb’s purpose of instilling chaos and destruction everywhere he goes. And we know that evil comes in all shapes and sizes, with Gunther/Orgalorg coming to mind.

I find it interesting how Finn, in multiple lives, looses his arm. It feels strangely karmic how it’s portrayed. Also worth noting in parallel how the Litch also loses his arm, effecting every conceivable multiverse. Any correlation??

"The tip of the iceberg" "Nuclear war"
  • @katz_co1722
What we see: colorful kingdoms What Finn sees: URINE
  • By the time you finish Adventure Time, you're left with a thousand questions and the impression you just went on a journey beyond animation and into your very soul. Its one of the weirdest shows I've ever had the pleasure of watching and the team behind it are absolutely amazing for giving us the show. James Baxter breaths more life into each scene than you'll find in a live action.
  • The guy who rejected Adventure Time Must feel like a pure and utter smooth-brain whenever someone brings it up "Hey remember that time you rejected one of the greatest series ever?" "I'll never forget it."
