Rick from pawn starts: “best I can do is 50 bucks”

Imagine buying eddie's guitar pick and then losing it a couple minutes later
  • I'm not even a guitar player, I'm a drummer. But I was lucky enough to see Mr Clapton play this guitar three different times. To see it up close like this is priceless! You did it bro! Your playing was KILLER! I'm in my late 60s now, and I can't tell you how special this was for me. THANK YOU! PEACE ✌️

If he plays that guitar with that pick I’m pretty certain he’ll become immortal

When Eddie’s pick strummed Clapton’s guitar.... I assumed an ancient ritual had been completed.

6:43 look at the pick on his thigh, that's the exact place I always put my pick before it vanishes into the sixth dimension

You can definitely tell exactly how Tyler feels playing this instrument. The sheer weight of all that guitar stands for crashed down onto him and the only thing he could do was play. I didn't stop smiling the entire time he was playing, it's truly a wonderful thing watching a musician fill the room with thankfulness, honor, courage and absolute humbleness. This is how musicians show respect.

"we're one of the largest rock n'Roll memorabilia houses in the world" If I was the guy who received that call I would literally freeze

My wallet jumped off a cliff reading that title.

The guitar that Tyler played is a hardtail Strat. It has a 1954 button string tree. In the video, Eric Clapton's guitar has a tremolo (not hardtail): see 7:54 minutes into the video. The video showed a CBS logo with a large headstock.

Headstock of the guitar on Clapton movie clip is from the 70's (big Headstock). This one is the "normal" Fender Strat Headstock...

You weren't kidding when you told us to turn on notifications

It did sound better than most vintage strats I've heard. It was bright but not too much and held it's ground on the mids and base. Most lose one or the other.

You could change your YouTube channel name to “Music is Expensive”

Next week: I bought a 1,500,000 dollar guitar

The best guitar I ever played was one of Jon Bon Jovi’s guitars, the thing felt like playing butter. 😊
