About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

Fun fact: the depressed luigi is from a scrapped ending in Luigi's mansion where if you fail to save mario you get the bad ending and luigi is depressed but it was scrapped due to it being too dark

4:22 the blue marios aka drowned marios are actually a level from the orginal creepypasta where mario ends up underwater and becomes invincible, and you will see so many drowned marios that chase you or just stays dead. when you eventually make it to the end, you will just a see a menacingly creepy mushroom that just stares at you. i really wanna explain the other stuff but im kinda lazy. (sorry for my grammar)

5:32 to elaborate more so on The Wario Apparition, it’s a combination of an old Nintendo event showcase (I wanna say Spaceworld but idk) where a floating Wario head hyped up the viewers for the upcoming show hence the “you want fun? Wario show you fun line.” This was eventually combined with several fake facts about Easter Eggs/betas of Mario 64 ie L is Real where some people claimed it was possible to encounter a Wario Easter Egg or hinting that it was in a beta build which eventually became the “Every copy of Mario 64 is personalized” meme/sub genre. Plus if you lose to Wario, it’ll give you an “anti piracy” screen instead of the traditional game over as a reference to that sub genre that got popular around the same time thanks to the Mario Party DS Anti Piracy videos.

Fun fact: In the beginning of the Mario cart song you can see racist Mario say something but theres no audio he’s actually saying “your not Nintendo your -your pretendo, your all RACE TRAITERS” this is a voice line in the video Racist Mario

From leaks, Deimos laughs in an FNF song as well. Update: The mod is out. And not only does he laugh, but he also says other things like "Hey!" "Yeah!" and even "There you are." in the song. He also coughs!

With how you described the hand grabbing boyfriend, I thought of a AVGN fan game in which AVGN was pulled into his own TV by his balls. Thankfully that didn’t happen to Boyfriend, but it would have been funny regardless.

and, the official Mario 85 lore is Lucas was home alone when he played SMB, and he had epilepsy so this flash came from the screen, and nobody was there to help poor Lucas, so he died and MX snagged his soul and pulled him into the game

I know the mod didn’t come out yet, but in one of the very old songs in the romp.fla mod, Grin, there was laughing in a part of the song. I know it doesn’t count, but I just wanted to say that.

Another one that laughs during an FNF mod is actually Sonic.exe himself: In Too Slow as a transition, and sometimes during You Can't Run.

In the Sonic.EXE mod, Sonic.EXE actually laughs in Too Slow, You Can't Run, and also Triple Trouble. Fun Fact: In the (Sonic.EXE) mod files, it is said the static in Too Slow was originally going to be used in the Vs. Tricky mod.
