I actually liked this. It shows he has the ability to think outside the box and repurpose items in unique and yes, useful ways. I'm 65 and have spent a lifetime innovating, so I appreciate this. On the contrary, this kind of exercise sharpens the mind and teaches tricks to innovate even if unnecessary but even more so, when such things have to be made in times and places when you're remote from a convenience store and you might need to get a job done without the proper tools. I say kudos to Fixotronic. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks like this, after all, look how popular the show MacGyver was and is!
