This is clearly edited, in the real footage the bear only eats like 7 hot dogs and Kobayashi eats like 60

According to Kobayashi, they had a rehearsal where he beat the bear. For the contest, later the bear handler admitted he had not fed the bear for 24 hours and so the results were much different.
