This man brought half of his office with him just to show us the most details, so humble and kind
  • @rulialee9802
He's explaining difficult concepts in a tone someone would use to tell bedtime stories. This just makes learning less stressful

Wired we better be seeing "Biologist answers MORE biology questions" like you did with the mortician. This is fantastic.

I love how Wired always finds people that are super passionate about their careers. Always the icing on the cake for me.
  • I'm been reading biology books since high school days...and I'm fascinated by the knowledge about us humans and the nature...I really enjoyed watching this whole video... 😀

This video made me remember why I love biology and why I almost dedicated my life to it. The curiosity and passion for how life works on this planet can create the most beautiful research and discoveries. If I’d had a bio teacher like him my senior year of high school, I probably would’ve continued w my plan of zoology.

I love watching people like this learn modern slang. Thor learning what “af” means? Absolutely priceless.

  • This guy looks like he's happy to answer every question you have with patience and the more you ask the more excited he gets because you're learning and are also sharing interest.
  • @berouja
He's so cool. I could listen to him lecture about biology all day.

It's so cool that grass grows the same way that fingernails do, it's almost like the earth is touching us when we walk on it. Also, I was always taught that yawning was a multipurpose tool in the sense that it generates an empathic response in other individuals and it's a good way to see who feels connected to us. Another thing it does is stimulate the tear ducts, generating lubrication for the eyes so if your eyes are dry then your body will produce a yawn which ties into why we yawn when we're tired.
