17:31 That's the LIBERIAN flag! Funnily enough, many often mistakenly use the Liberian flag as an emoji because of its resemblance to the American flag, so Arasha's not alone. The Liberian flag is based off the American flag because Liberia is the result of an American colonization effort that started in the 1820s-1830s. Between then and the Civil War in the 1860s, many freed Africans were brought from the US to Africa (like seriously, there were different settlements called Maryland-in-Africa, Kentucky-in-Africa, and Mississippi-in-Africa). Unlike the US flag, the Liberian flag has eleven stripes and only one star. This represents the eleven delegates that signed the Liberian Declaration of Independence. The star represents the fact that when Liberia declared independence in the 1840s, it was the first republic in Africa, with the blue square representing the continent. The Puerto Rican flag on the other hand, is just an inverted version of the Cuban flag (aka the top half of my profile pic lol).
