Biochemistry PhD student here. Love this video. AI is such an amazing tool. I used all 3 of these with the same prompts regarding a lit review I am currently doing. Cognosys was by far the best. Thanks!
  • @yannickhs7100
BingAI still seems better for literature search for now !
  • @helenparker9599
Thanks for keeping us up to date! I need to research for developing university-level courses and don’t need that deep, comprehensive dive into the literature. So these are perfect suggestions for broad overview of where the fields are heading.

I've just received an exceptionally challenging reflective report assignment and was truly finding it difficult. This will prove to be tremendously helpful! Thank you so much.
  • @tived0
Very optimistic video. I have tried both Aomni and Cognosys today for a simple search: the first took 5 minutes and then returned me 2 links that I had already visited and that did not answer my question, and the second completely invented papers as I could not find them anywhere, and the links it provided me were linked to completely different papers. 🤷‍♂

Would love to see a Video Dedicated for Professional PhD especially in the Sciences. I’m currently taking a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Specializing in AI at the University of Washington but it’s a Professional Masters Program where there are no exams just projects. Curious if there is something like this for a PhD
  • @troy_neilson
Great video. Great tools to augment research, or to kick start the review process. Thanks!
  • @contractorwolf
Wow. I use chatGPT pretty effectively as a software developer and loved your take on how this doesnt "write the paper for you" and that it still requires that human intuition. It is so true. AI can only enhance and compliment our skillsets, but combined with AI we can really do amazing things. Subscribed!

Got so hooked on Andy during my thesis in the Netherlands. Love the vibe and the beard❤
  • @KeroKika
Thanks for sharing this helpful tools. Surely, they will be game changers in the academia.

Thank you so much for this new review!

Andy, hey! Thanks for great tips for the academic research! At times I wonder if you could tap into the world of social sciences, Behavioral Sciences, psychology or family science to discover the latest developments there and compare those with the cards sign says that you are illustrating.🎉 Good luck! God bless!
  • well you might want to consider asking for authorities on it, and their publications and giving it more specific information on what journals to use.
  • @educhd
Can one automate an AI tool like Cognosys to for eg. fortnightly check for new publications on a specific topic, or create a workflow to keep one up to date on specific topics?
  • @tinarichardson364
Thanks for this, Andy. I did my first academic AI test yesterday by setting an essay question, in my own specialisms (Cultural Theory and Psychogeography), on Bard. It gave me three drafts. Two were good, in terms of applying the theory, one not so good. None were actual essays, as they were only 500 word answers. There were no quotes or citations. One even got a book name wrong. All were generic and not very critical and the language used was not complex at all.
  • @MoAbbasSD
With all recent advancements in the AI field, I'm pretty sure that within a year AI will be able to write a whole paper just by inputting the aims of the research and the raw data
  • @jirlong
    Good introduction! thank you.
  • @Zahidbwp
You are doing well. Keep it up.
