Definitely good to see that push without music here
  • @eckph
Love the way you slowed down right before the finish line to get her in front of the cameras - you guys are absolute pros. Lovely to see!

Knocking 20 secs off a 5K PB is an impressive effort for someone at that level so well done Nina and great pacing Ben. Always enjoy running in Battersea Park.
  • @droid806
The lack of music make the real effort flourish, and the voiceover insight was marvelous. Keep these please!

I'm a slow overweight runner and my friend paced me for a sub 30 minute 5k. Never would have imagined doing it by myself. Was a great feeling hitting sub 30 and beating my PR by 4 minutes.

Love the narration over the run! Made for a way more engaging watch. Was great to hear your thoughts and the pain throughout also😣. Please do more of this! Class running! 👏🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️

Seeing a pro athlete doing 5k just exactly like I did my 5k in terms of effort management (not pace, ofc), especially around the 3rd-4th k, those huge exhale and groans, and the last 500m struggle, reminds me about a quote "you get faster, but it doesn't get easier"
  • Great pacing. I am an offcial race pacer for 22 years, but nothing can beat a quality personal pace with someone walking off with a grand new PB. Well done.
  • @hamwhacker
Great to see professionals at work. You are both AMAZING
  • @scrumpymanjack
Interesting how Nina's breathing was already stretched at 2k. The mental and physical strength to keep going is immense. Super impressive.

Way to go Nina! I just wanted to say how inspiring your journey has been to us all. You really have to admire someone who follows their dreams and encourages so many others to do the same. It's always a good day when you get a new Ben is Running notification! Thank you as always
  • @RunDave
I love your channel Ben, I am a big guy and spend my parkruns at 37 minutes, but it is lovely to watch you run so well. Great pacer, Nina pushed and was very grateful. Lovely video
  • @VoodooToad.
Ben - You are so humble and one of the most 'chilled' people I sub to. I love your content and I am excited to see what you can achieve in 2024 and beyond! Well done and thank you sir.
  • @argentinemaniac
Mad respect for this wonderful piece of running and coaching. Congrats to you both
  • @revenantel
Ben, i watch all your videos but i have to say this one was outstanding. Great content. Thank you. Good luck for your upcoming race.
  • Thanks for the great video, Ben! So nice to see Nina breaking PB and earning ranking points! We used to run a lot together with Nina years ago, she's such a lovely running pal (the best) and a special person and friend :)

What a wonderfully wholesome video. I used to run club level XC, track and road - they were great times, everybody was so encouraging of others. This took me back to those days. Thank you.
