With only watching the anime, I'd have to imagine this would be one of the rare times that the Demon Lords would actually end up working together given the strongest of them are allies with Rimuru if not just curious to see what he can bring to the world. Not mentioning the fact primordial demons are attracted to Rimuru as well, he seems to be the greatest threat to the angels by simply existing lol

For Everyone whos complaining about World building its necessary for the later arcs, lets be glad that fights in Tensura arent two people screaming at the top of their lungs for 20m, i do wish they would visably show the actions talked about in the meetings but i also understand its to save budget for the high intensity action in the fights

For those that may not be aware or but Dino one of Octagons members is a Fallen Angel. Now not all angels involved with Great Tenma War are on his level but just a little context to how strong the angles are in the conflict.

To add to this, if anyone watched the OVAs, the Phantom creature that attacked the kids and caused Tiss to summon Diablo by accident was a “Corrupted” Angel. It was scouting for the main force for this war.
