Tom Maker visits the infamous Linear Fisheries. Tom covers how he approaches such commercial venues in late Autumn, including an in-depth look at bait choices and how he prepares his free offerings.
Tom gets off to a great start with a 30lb common on St Johnβs but it becomes apparent the fish arenβt playing ball. With 24-hours remaining Tom decides to up sticks and move over to Brasenose One, a place he knows is great for some Winter action.
Using the exact same tactics as St Johnβs, Tom decided to fish three rods on a tightly baited area, a method he knows works well at any time of year.
As darkness approached the first bite came and it was to be the first of several fish banked over the next 12 hours! Tom ended up with three 30lb+ carp and a LAKE RECORD COMMON!!!
