Living without insurance is like walking a tightrope without a safety net. That alone was reason enough to go back to work. I am almost 73, I lost my husband almost 16 years ago, you two are still young enough to make all of your dreams come true. Shannon, you go girl!! Back in my day it was the wife who stayed home and the husband went to work in the morning, I think it's great that the tables have turned. Kyle is needed on the land to work on your dream, you are still working on the dream from your day job! Makes perfect sense to me! Both roads lead to the same destination. Kyle, the day you can push that camper over the hill, will be one heck of a celebration video!!

I'm 77 and I still have to work in order to pay bills and buy groceries. So I understand completely.

I was without health insurance for 4 years until I was eligible for Medicare. It was scary as I couldn’t afford some testing for preexisting conditions. The stress of not having the insurance really exacerbated those conditions. I often wondered, when I would see Kyle working with some of the equipment, if you all had insurance as treatments for accidents can be very costly, not to mention the Alpha-Gal tests. Wise decision for Shannon to go back to work. Wish you both well with your new normal.
