I was shown this deep hole. What it is or where it goes is a mystery.
Come along and let’s go explore and try and figure out what this mystery is. You never know what you'll find while out exploring. Arizona Desert.
Strange writing's carved in the rock.

There was a windmill on top of it at one time boys. That’s a water well. I have three old ones on my property.
  • It's definitely an air vent for a tunnel/mine underneath. Throw a smoke bomb down to see where the smoke comes out to find the entrance
  • YOUR HEAT SOURCE... When you were measuring the heat source you said the temperature above ground was 40°. However if you do any research you always find out that anytime you have a facility underground below 6 ft it maintains a constant temperature of about 64 to 70°. There is your heat source

That marked stone looks like an old survey monument, the West 1/4 of the West Corner and South Corner of a pair of sections, the only thing missing is the specific section numbers. Cool Video Jack!
  • Reminds me of when I was a young girl staying at my grandparents' ranch in West Texas. Their country home was at least 10 miles from the nearest town. So, they burned their trash in a dried-up creekbed not too far from their ranch house, cans and all. When a chicken died, they would burn it with their trash. If the chicken cooked rather than burned up, the other living chickens would eat it. Canabalistic chickens!
  • My vote is for the site of an old windmill for a stock tank. It had an empty can as a cover. Drop string with large fishing weight to tell depth and if it has water. WCSC 1/4 is a survey corner marker. If so, then there 3 others and one has the paperwork.
  • We found something very similar and it turned out to be a fresh air vent for a cold war shelter/survival bunker from the late 50s and early 60s .. Found a few more holes that looked like they were missing weather vents as well. Unfortunately the people inside will be there forever or they got out when they ran out of supplies and never returned.
  • I used to live in green valley I moved there to take care of mom for her last few years after I finished with the army . I was suffering big time with PTSD but had to take care of her and that helped. My sister lives in Dragoon and her husband is all about the mineral world and turned me into a rock hound I loved Arizona found some great rocks . Agates crystals found a couple fire agates that I turned into cabs . Beautiful state absolutely loved that place n still do

I don't know if anyone pointed this out but 94 Inches is 7 feet 10 in which is 7' 10" or 7' 11" (10 with carpet and 11 with sub-flooring) is the exact size most condos and apartment flats and older houses (pre-1990s) are because of 8 feet of rockwall sheet. 94 inches screams ceiling height. perhaps someone dropped a shipping container or a military structure or someone built a room using standard 8 foot construction material and that's typical size venting pipe about a coffee can. I would suggest a endo/bore scope (as mentioned) or even better is get a spool of nylon string and crazy glue a "cube" (shape) spy cam to it. they're the size of a large dice and they're dirt cheap off of amazon or temu. less than 15-20 bucks. you can have an amazon delivered to any local town with a amazon locker and they charge up on any usb power bank. its much smaller than a go-cam cube size of a US quarter and they're IR as well. i was impressed with mine. low grain 1080p but good luck with your "Dutches mine" / fun video

Just subscribed to you, because I'm now intrigued and MUST know! I love a good mystery! 😁 Don't keep us waiting, it's getting fun! 👍🏻
  • One thing I know from being a pilot I seen alotta steel tube casings driven into practice ranges for ID flags for us and that could either be one or an air vent which are usually a little larger like 3"tubing. The AF and other military agencies drove the tubes into the ground for things like marker flags and air socks for chopper practices. U see an aircraft creates wind and a wash when it goes by so the flags and other markers would not get blown over.

Those look like old WW2 M1 landmines. Buddy of mine used to find the training ones all over in the rivers and washes near the old army bases.

Dont look into critter holes so closely, there could be a snake. The stones around that deep hole in the beginning are interesting. As far as anyone knows, no one has found the lost Dutchman's mine. Thats a dangerous area.
  • I think they ought to dig around it, it's the money hole in Arizona. A new series.

Need to add something like a panasonic hx-a1 to your tool box. You can find good used ones on the auction sites. You can drill a hole in the cap and attach a HD ball bearing snap swivel and seal it with some jb weld. Tie some kevlar braided line to the swivel using one of them fancy fishing knots so it won't slip off and your set. It's wifi too. Hit a farmers market for an old deep sea fishing rig and saw the pole off after the first loop and your good to go. Portable shaft camera.

A diamond drill core hole casing. Mine exploration.
  • @nancyjones247
My first thought of that deep hole was an air vent for a tunnel system for human trafficking. Lot of that kind of thing here in Arizona. Hope that's not what it is.🙏
  • I help doddlebugging in the early 80’s in northwest Dakota. We drill 200 foot hole for oil exploration. You want to look at the bottom of the hole, take a pocket mirror and aim towards the sun at the same time direct the beam at the hole. Guarantee you’ll see HELL!
  • I think those metal discs are old anti tank mine simulators they used for training proper placement, the hole in the ground could be an air vent for an underground bunker who knows
  • @jsharp1776
The second two items are possible mouse traps? The first one might be a old septic tank. Or maybe a air vent to a underground bomb shelter or something like that.
