I remember when this game first came out, I was so hyped. They would reveal each different Spider-Man every other two weeks, it kept us guessing which Spider-Man was gonna be used in the game. Great memories 😌

They tried to "Noir" up the stealth in later Spidey games, particularly in Insomniac's take. But man, there's just something different about the way Spider-Man noir takes enemies to quiet pound town. His takedown animations are brutal, and his combat moves feel more like you're killing enemies with your fists realistically than a simple nap time, and the villains are darkly colorful. Also had some of the best soundtracks for each boss.

Fun fact: I had a lecture with the storyboard artist who worked on the cutscenes for this game. The museum in the opening is based on my local art gallery in Glasgow.

Spiderman, the animated series voice actor from the 90's, Christopher Daniel Barnes, will always be the real Spiderman to me. I STILL feel like the end of that show needs a proper real ending. When I saw X-Men 97 announced...I was like.. "What about Spiderman?!" Lol. Great video!

As a kid I watched Sam Rami's Spider man (1,2,3) more than 200 times, no cap, my whole personality is based on him. The number of times I've got that I am like Peter Parker is astronomical.

I think to this day, that Chris Barnes sounded like an actual psychopath during that shocker fight. Nonetheless, great content! Do a review of Edge Of Time, that would be cool

I had a blast playing through it even after I played the PS4 version. That is how well it holds up today. To this day Shattered Dimensions and Insomniac's Spider-Man are my two favorite Spidey experiences.
