This actress was severely under appreciated on this role.

The fact Henry Cavill didn't get a second Superman movie is absolutely unforgivable. The man was born to play that role.

If history has proven anything It is that people will never forget how good Henry Cavill is as Superman.

I love that she could have killed him immediately, but decided to recognize his bravery and draw her dagger as well.

keep in mind, that the actress, who portrayed faora-ul almost quit acting as she wasn't really getting roles. she was then cast in this and made an excellent impression.

Love the look of confusion on their faces when Supes uses his heat vision. They probably had no idea they could do that, such a thing wouldn't be possible on Krypton.
  • Faora recognized and respected that man as a fellow soldier, even though he was incredibly outclassed physically, he had the training and bravery to fight till the end. Whereas she is tearing Superman a new one because he has zero combat training. Amazing scene and great side characters.

This is the most anime fight I've ever seen in a non-anime film.
  • @Kinos141
For a guy who never had a real fight in his life, taking on 2 trained veteran soldiers, he did pretty well.

Wish we could have gotten more fight scenes like this. Man of Steel remains one of the only movies that consistently depicts how effortless it was for a superhero (especially Superman) to leap in a single bound and move so fast they practically look like teleporting. Wish Thor got portrayed in the same way.

Whomever was in charge of the CGI deserves a fckn raise.
  • @LekeO
This movie did a great job showing the sheer power and destructive capabilities of Kryptonians under a yellow sun

9 years ago, this film didn't receive the appreciation it deserved. All these years I've been tirelessly expressing how it beautifully portrays super-powered beings and the immense power they hold but sadly, no one seemed to share my enthusiasm. Thankfully, times have changed, and I'm thrilled that everyone now recognizes the greatness I saw in this film. It's truly gratifying to see its brilliance being recognized at last.
  • Faora: a good death is its own reward Soldier: getting choked by you is its own reward Faora: what Soldier: what
