Yoshi's Woolly World glitch

So, basically I found a glitch in Yoshi's Woolly World. What happened (or at least how I remember it happening) was I died to lava while just starting to charge up a yarn ball throw. When I got back to the beginning of the level, the yarn ball was "stuck" to my sprite. No clue how that happened but it did xp
UPDATE: Apparently this glitch has already been discovered xp I just got this game for Xmas which is why I hadn't seen it yet (that and I never watched any glitch videos for it)
