When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. I discovered Tobey as a child, Andrew as a teenager, and Holland as an adult and then this movie comes into my life. I think it’s safe to say my childhood is complete.

The scene where everyone went wild at cinema

I definitely remember seeing this at the theater and everyone was cheering and applauding when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire entered the movie.

I didn't notice it in the theater but now that I rewatch the scene, I realized something. This scene perfectly shows that Tobey is the most experienced spidey. Spidey sense is insanely OP in the comics, an experienced spidey is basically omniscient so the fact that he could sense the other Peters shows that he has great degree of control over his spidey sense. Also, the fact that he quickly spotted that Andrew used a device to shoot his webs and it wasn't natural was also a sign of this. I love this little indication that he is better at using his powers rather than a loud display like a head-to-head fight or battle of reflexes.

I like that they made Tobey the oldest and more experience of the 3 of them.
  • The way Andrew reads the line “Why’d you do that?” with his little bemused shrug is absolutely iconic
  • This scene had the perfect setup. First the surprise introduction of Andrew. Then as the scene went on with the bickering and chit chat my anticipation to see Tobey again went through the roof. I cried my eyes out the moment I recognized Tobey on the screen. Everyone in the theater went wild.

4:52 oh man, hearing the OG web sound from Tobey really took me back. This movie has such great attention to detail!

The feeling of seeing this in the cinema for the first time was incredible. I hadn’t believed any of the rumours, dismissed all the spoilers as fake and so having that moment of seeing Andrew and Tobey again was wonderful

When Tobey and Andrew explained that they went to the Empire State and Chrysler building to get away from everything I felt like I was going to cry because back in the old days, whenever I played Spider-Man 2 the game or Spider-Man 3 the game I would make Spider-Man stand in the edges of those two building whenever I had to step out somewhere. I could’ve just paused the game but I didn’t. I find going to those places of isolation would be so quiet and comforting.

As a Filipino, I'm very surprised with this scene when Ned's lola speaks Tagalog. Also it's great to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield back as Spider-Man.

This is an Avengers Endgame moment for Spiderman fans everywhere! Incorporating Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield into the MCU is the best choice ever.

The way he whispered “why’d you do that” takes me out every time

I just wanna go back to the day this came out in theaters and the excitement of it all watching this. Such a great time. I was so happy to see Andrew. I still miss him so much.

2:35 This whole sequence kills me. Especially the whispered "why'd you do that."

This was amazing. Seeing all three Spider-Men in one movie, I was excited to see this.

I can only imagine the gratitude in the hearts of Sam Raimi and Marc Webb when they saw this scene for the first time.

I love how peter’s first reaction to meeting himself is to attack himself
