“The latest polling which has the Coalition inching ahead in the popular vote for the first time since the federal election,” Mr Macpherson said.

Just like the polling on the Voice referendum polls will continue to show the LNP getting further ahead the closer we get to the next election. Elmer Fudd will cry a lot in an attempt to get the sympathy vote but too late - Labor are gone.
