Ahh yes the annual Tesla layoff
-
My buddy sold his house in Reno and was in the process of buying a new house in California because they gave him a relocation package so he can find out he no longer has a job right after he put a deposit down on the new home.
-
They fired 2,700 employees and they also decided to pay 1 employee about 53B what a way to save cost.
But that's not all, the stock price went up by 10% after the news of firing. That means that many people/investors are happy when a lot of employees are getting fired. -
Less jobs=more crime.
-
I still love my 2001 Honda and enjoying my money and
-
I just talked to my friend about this the other day he works at the Fremont plant as a tech. He said that he might go back to 8 hour days which is bad for him because he lives almost 3 hours away from the plant glad I left Tesla years ago
-
WOW......the Bay area is struggling and now Tesla is laying off.....
-
But the economy is booming right???
-
Stellantis is also laying off a significant amount of its workforce.
-
Lay off more so the stock can go up.
-
With massively plunging sales, Tesla will have layoff far more to survive as a company.
-
Ha!! Just like Texas. I’ll stick to my V8 F-150, never let me down.😂😂
-
no skin off my butt I drive a big giant gas hog.
-
No BYD cars in the US market, no competition yet.
-
2,700 employees laid off? It's not enough it should be about 4,000 employees
-
Good. Now maybe government will get it--we don't want EV. We just want reliable cars and work trucks that work, not duracell-powered junk that wastes our time and money.
-
What are they still doing in California??? And in the expensive Bay area to boot?!??
-
That stupid truck, need to drop that silly idea or make it 3x cost.
-
In the 60's that plant built ford trucks. I see a few around. Some are like new while others are working trucks. They came stock with radioactive car detectors.
-
What competition? Famously said by Elon Musk. There isn’t a single BYD EV in the US. How does that affect the employee in the US?
